Hi dear @Laynie, you have to follow the chronology and some important dates Nagita wrote in her story to calculate how many years Candy and Terry were separated. After several analysis we agree that the separation at the New York’s hospital was in the winter of the years 1915-1916. Candy in her letters after that mentioned the death of Stear, how she knew Albert was the uncle William, the construction of the happy clinic of doctor Martin near pony’s home, the memorial at Lakewood remembering Stair when WWI ended, at the end of 1918, Archie going to the university and marrying Annie after that, and when the war ended the news about Terry as successful actor playing Hamlet, two round tours in America and after that a tour to England. In that moment the story is at least in 1921. Susana’s death could be around 1922 after the England tour, or she stayed in New York being ill. Terry wanted to write to candy doubting to do that for a year and a half. We believe candy and Terry met after candy received Terry’s letter in 1924. It is an interesting excercise to try to check the chronology when you read it and still os open to discussion in some little details.
