Oh. I LOVE THESE CONFESSIONS!!!!. How Gilbert from Anne of Green Gables is the first boy she mentioned and directly associated to the boys that fell in of Candy. We know specially Terry had Gilbert’s personality, and behaved with Candy just like Golbert in that story. It is amazing to know how the gates’ idea emerged in nagita’s mind!!!! And also the references to the room of his father where she starting writing CC. The relationship with her grandmother was so special, a woman that lived in América, loved italian movies and songs and remarried being old, just an independent woman compared with other Japanese ones. Nagita probably is so international considering that background. She also tells us why a house must be abandoned after sad events, no matter how much you love it, an explanation for the lost of Lakewood in CCFS. The beautiful gates without itr owners, a lovely nostalgic image. Thanks for the translation Terry’s angels.
